December: Advent/Christmas Programs
Morning Worships and the evening Children's Christmas program on December 20 contributed to a wonderful Advent and Christmas season at our congregation. Visit our Picasa photo albums for pictures of many of our events.

 
 November 28th: Hanging of the Green
Decorating the church for Christmas brought out a great group of volunteers. Joyce Worthington captured some of them hard at work with her camera. You can view her pictures by clicking here.

 
 November 22nd: Congregation Business Meeting - : Joyce Jordeth was honored for her years of service as the Congregational Historian during the business meeting. Other itemes of business included approval of the 2010 Budget and the Resolution on Covenant of Welcome. It was also the Children's 4th Sunday activity. See their picture album.
   Brian Cole/Kathy Bridwell Reception: Friends and family gathered for a wedding reception at the church for Brian and Kathy on November 21st. They were married November 14th.

 Ann Mauk dies at the age of 102.
Our congregation lost one of its faithful members on Sunday, November 1st.
She continued to attend Sunday morning worship services well beyond her 100th birthday. She will be missed. obituary

 
 Annual Harvest Party - October 25th featured Costumes, Pumpkin Carving, a Chili Cook-off and loads of fun. Many costumes made it nearly impossible to tell who the person was. See the pictures and see if you can tell who it is.

 Children's Sabbath - October 18th the entire worship service centered on children and the children's sabbath. Children participated in every aspect of the service that ended with a Pastoral Prayer for our children.

 
 September 13 - Sunday School Kick Off: Seventeen children arrived for the kick off of the Sunday School year; to meet their teachers, find their classrooms and get their picture taken. Sharon Fulton introduced the teachers as snacks were enjoyed. The new adult class started today also. click here for pictures

 September 11 - Taylor Thomas was born to Bonnie and Steve Thomas. She weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces. Welcome to our world Taylor.

 July 24th Church Picnic: Approximately 60 people braved the 90 degree tempatures and enjoyed the annual picnic. Hamburgers, hot dogs, wonderful salads and side dishes followed by home made ice cream and other desserts made it worthwhile. Dylan the juggler entertained the crowd without injury.  WCN Panel: Sunday evening, June 14th was the Second Sunday Social with potluck and the diverse panel. The panel was excellent and well received by those in attendance. The panel was one more step in the journey of the Fort Collins congregation as we explore the possiblity of becoming an open and affirming - Welcoming Community Network congregation. pictures

 
 Baptisms: Sunday, June 7th was a day of sacraments at the Fort Collins Community of Christ. Four adult baptisms and confirmations was followed by Communion. Those baptized were Brian Cole, Max Coopwood, Steve Thomas and Joyce Worthington.

 Trashbusters: Sunday, April 26, the Sunday School children celebrated Earth Day by picking up trash in the neighborhood. In addition to this community service project they learned to appreciate the beautiful earth we all inhabit. Thanks kids! click here for pictures

 
 Palm Sunday features Children's Bell Choir: Sunday April 5th drew a large crowd for the Palm Sunday service. Part of the draw was the performance of the Children's Bell Choir. It is always a joy to observe the joy and exuberance the children put in to this activity.

 4th Sunday Children's Activity: On the 4th Sunday a special children's activity is provided during the Sunday School hour. January 25th Bill & Pat Miner and Rick & Kay Bunch organized a scavenger hunt and explored the theme "How to Follow Jesus" through taking care of ourselves , others, and the environment.
