Opportunity to Serve
A portion of the retreat which will involve us getting to know each other and share our knowledge, gifts, talents, and interests with each other. We are inviting you to bring things that you would like to share with our little group. This can be any skill or knowledge which others may want to learn or might inspire them to consider their own gifts in a new light. We will be doing this as an open forum allowing participants to select the workshops or displays they want to see. We are suggesting about 20 to 30 minutes.  We are not expecting you to teach anything to mastery, but give us an introduction to what you do and how you use it.

Examples:
Knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc.
Photography, painting, drawing
Calligraphy, jewelry making, pottery
Cooking, canning, preserving food
Gardening, floral arrangement, etc.
Computer skills
Organization
Public speaking
Sharing what you do to be of service or a source of strength in your community.

Basically, this can be anything that you have a desire to share or you think might be helpful or interesting to others.  If you are interested in sharing, please email Jane Nelms with the information. Please provide a brief description of what you would like to share and what your ideas are about how you would like to do that (demonstrate, interactive, display, etc.).

Opportunity to Create
Wind Chimes: One of our activities will incorporate making something beautiful out of what we might think of as junk. We have a plenty of supplies, but you can bring things to add to give your creation special meaning.

Examples:
Beads, buttons, crystals, jewelry supplies, jewelry tools
Broken jewelry or old jewelry (do you have odd earrings that have lost their mate)
Sentimental items like old dog tags, keys, key chains, charms, etc.
