Second Sunday Social: August 10th the Second Sunday Social welcomed our new pastor with "Selebration with Sharon". This was a special night to welcome and get better acquainted with Sharon Troyer. Nancy Miller played the role of Oprah interviewing Sharon. The audience was also able to ask questions and provide Sharon with information about the congregation. |

The Annual Congregation Picnic was held on July 19th at Fossil Creek Lake Pavilion. Homemade Icecream, rhubard pie and traditional picnic food was enjoyed by young and old alike. Miss Q.T. Pie the clown made her second appearance at the picnic. Our new pastor, Sharon Troyer, who officially fills that role August 1st, also attended. Click here for pictures. |

Congregation hires part time pastor: At the March 2nd business meeting the congregation voted unanimously to accept the search committee's recommendation to hire Sharon Troyer as part time pastor. The budget to provide the necessary funds was approved as well, including a planned approach to securing commitments for the additional contributions required. Those commitments have been made, contracts signed, and Sharon is scheduled to begin her role on August 1st. More information, including Sharon's resume and the new budget, is in the March 2008 Communicator. |

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: The annual Christmas program was held December 16th. An overflow crowd enjoyed the children's bell choir, expert story teller, Joan Green, and a Tableaux, "I Wonder", staged by the children. Congregational Picnic: June 30th was the annual congregational picnic at Rolland Moore Park. The weather was perfect (some might say a bit warm) and the food was delicious. that Dick Zmyslony passed away Sunday night, June 24th. The memorial Service will be Saturday,

Sadly we have had two
members of the congregation pass away recently. Sandy Johnson on March 21st and Carolyn
Struble on April 1st. Memorial services are scheduled as follows: Carolyn Struble - Wednesday, April 4th at 11 a.m. in the Activity Center Sandy Johnson - Sunday, April 15th at 3 p.m. in the Activity Center |

February 11, 2007 - The Second Sunday Social this month was the Annual Valentine Dinner. Entertainment was provided by the Sweet Adelines.
